Strong Spend Ahead for Email Marketing
Email marketing spending will grow to $2.1 billion in 2012 from $1.2 billion in 2007, according to JupiterResearch's "US E-mail Marketing Forecast, 2007 to 2012" report.

JupiterResearch also said that spending on retention email would more than double through 2012 and account for more than half of total email marketing spending by then.
